Financial Planning Jobs in Clark County: How to Get One

We interviewed two financial planners about their career path. Erick Powell and Andy Barlow of KB&P Financial had this to say -

“Our days consist of meeting with clients and helping them to achieve their financial goals. Things like planning for college and retirement,” said Barlow. “I wanted to be a suit and tie guy and provide for my family so I switched to finance in college.”

“I majored in accounting at Wright State, took a personal finance class and enjoyed learning about investments and saving for a new house, car and college. I decided at that point to become a financial planner and received my license certifications after graduating from college,” said Powell.

“It’s one of the most gratifying careers you can get into - helping families along the way by inspiring them and helping them to plan,” said Barlow.
