Clark County Has the Jobs, Employers, and Momentum to Move Your Career Forward
Springfield isn't talking about workforce growth; it's delivering it. With employers hiring across manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, public service, and education, this region offers real opportunity backed by real demand.
Most recently, at the April Clark County Job Fair, 60 employers filled every available space. Dozens more were waitlisted. These companies are expanding and need skilled, reliable workers to support growth. They're offering full-time roles, strong benefits, and career paths in industries that anchor the regional economy.
Whether you're just entering the workforce or bringing years of experience, there are jobs here that match your skill set. Employers are hiring for positions in:
Clark County is taking direct steps to close that gap. Starting with active recruitment, hands-on job fairs, and collaboration across business and education.
Workforce development in Springfield starts early. At this year's job fair, 240 high school seniors explored career paths and met employers face to face — a 56% increase from the previous year. These connections build a stronger pipeline and support a regional talent strategy that businesses can count on.
Springfield also supports upward mobility for adult job seekers. Of the 146 adults who attended the most recent fair, over 60% were unemployed and seeking employment. The rest were employed and exploring new opportunities. Both groups found direct access to hiring managers who are ready to move quickly.
Businesses grow here because the community is responsive and the workforce is motivated. Talent moves here because wages go further and careers advance faster.
