Springfield, Ohio is the ideal place to live and work if you want to enhance your lifestyle. Downtown Springfield has become a hub of activity with places like Center Street Townes offering city-style townhomes in the heart of the action. From new and renovated downtown housing options, you can walk to restaurants, bars, the Farmer’s Market and parks.

If you, or a spouse, works remotely, Downtown Springfield is also the perfect destination. At the COhatch, you can use the coworking space to work remotely, or meet with clients and colleagues in a meeting room. Then for a break - head downstairs to grab a drink and something to eat. The Market section of COhatch houses six restaurants, a retail space, a bar, and a brewery so there is always something to do. “It’s such a cool environment. It’s fun to work remotely at COhatch because you can have quiet space when you need it, but be around people if you get tired of working alone,” said Rachel Erie, Springfield Operations Manager.

The Market is also where you can meet other professionals and business owners. The Market Bar, for example, was started by locals Andrew Lazear and Rod Hatfield. “Rod and I were born and raised in Springfield. We both see the beauty in our city and share the love in doing our part to enrich our hometown's downtown redevelopment effort,” said Andrew. “We are Springfield's first craft cocktail bar of its kind, preparing fresh squeezed citrus and house made syrups for a thoughtful rotation of seasonal cocktail menus,” said Rod. In the last two years, The Greater Springfield Partnership has awarded The Market Bar the "Best Place for a Cocktail in Springfield” award.

Of course, you don’t have to live and work in Downtown Springfield to enjoy all that the city and the Market has to offer. Springfield’s business community has been growing rapidly and there are a ton of jobs for people with all types of education and experience. “One of the great things about Springfield is that you can build a career here by starting right out of college, or find jobs that are a fit for someone with a master’s degree or higher. There is opportunity here for everyone and that includes opportunities for advancement,” said Amy Donahoe, Director of Workforce Development for the Greater Springfield Partnership. “For example, if you were to look at ClarkCounty.jobs right now, you would see job openings for engineers, production supervisors, delivery drivers, Director of Nursing, Sonographers, retail workers, maintenance technicians, loan officers, police officers and so much more. No matter what your industry or career level - you can find an amazing job in Springfield.”

And if you’re a business owner or remote worker, we want you here too. Rachel Erie would love to chat with you about COhatch. “We would love to meet you and chat about your goals. You can walk in or schedule a tour online through our website,” she said.
